Announcing Path to Glory: Grow Trees in The Sandbox and Help Save a Real Forest

We believe that each of us owes a responsibility to act with impact and purpose as we create a better, more inclusive, and kinder planet. That’s why using the metaverse as a driving force for good is a core pillar of our platform.

International Forest Day is a chance for us to act on this principle, and we’re taking the opportunity to announce the release of a brand new Experience brought to you by WeForest and AFYA and produced by PuzzleBros. Path to Glory is a journey into the heart of forest conservation, highlighting the importance of community involvement and the interconnectedness of our efforts against climate change and biodiversity loss.

Path to Glory launches on Earth Day (April 22nd) and will be available on The Sandbox. In the Experience, people can visit the city of Addo, its National Park, Citrus Plantations, and the forests in the Katanino and Malawi area.

One Tree Planted in the Metaverse = One Tree Planted in the Real World

Path to Glory is a journey into the heart of forest conservation, highlighting the importance of community involvement and the interconnectedness of our efforts against climate change and biodiversity loss.

The Experience showcases a forest where trees are being cut down. In the game, players will be able to purchase virtual NFT Seeds. For each seed purchased, a new tree will grow in The Sandbox with the player’s name displayed on it. Each Seed NFT purchased is a donation that represents a real tree WeForest will grow or protect in one of their projects.
