Explore the Metaverse in “Mediacorp’s Let’s Celebrate 2024 Interactive Game”!

The Sandbox is thrilled to announce a collaboration with digital creators Smobler and Mediacorp to extend the latter’s “Let’s Celebrate 2024” annual year-end celebration to the metaverse!

Held in conjunction with the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024, presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), this physical celebration promises to be an unforgettable one as The Promontory at Marina Bay comes alive with star-studded performances, a grand midnight countdown, and a breathtaking fireworks display come 31 December 2023.

The Metaverse Experience

And for the very first time, Mediacorp will be venturing into the metaverse with its “Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2024 Interactive Game”, presented in collaboration with digital creators Smobler. Players can elevate their celebratory experience through the game in The Sandbox, in an online extension of the countdown show, and also look forward to creating avatars, interacting with behind-the-scenes crew, exploring Mediacorp’s 987 studio, and partaking in a dance-off with homegrown artiste Shazza in the virtual world.

“Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2024 Interactive Game” features a total of 19 popular personalities, including Mediacorp 987’s Joakim Gomez, Mediacorp RIA 897’s Azura Goh, Mediacorp OLI 968’s Ravi G, and Mediacorp artistes Herman Keh, Zhai Siming, and Juin Teh.
