‘MetaMansion’ by The Sandbox x Playboy
Playboy-themed immersive gaming experience in The Sandbox metaverse will include NFT collectibles releases and special experiences for Playboy’s Rabbitar community.
Playboy, the globally recognized, iconic lifestyle brand is collaborating with The Sandbox! Playboy’s “MetaMansion” experience in The Sandbox will feature gaming, social play, programmed events and ongoing digital collectibles releases that leverage Playboy’s vast content library, incorporate Playboy’s talent and influencer network, and bring Playboy’s coveted fashion styles and must-attend live experiences into the metaverse.
The Sandbox and Playboy collaboration builds upon Playboy’s innovative work in Web3. Playboy entered the Web3 space in the spring of 2021 with its genesis NFT drop called Liquid Summer, a collection of digital artworks created by reimagining art from Playboy’s archive. The Liquid Summer collection, created in collaboration with artist Slimesunday, sold out in under three minutes.
In October 2021, Playboy released its first major NFT collectibles project, Playboy Rabbitars. Owners of Rabbitars and The Sandbox LAND owners will have access to special experiences in Playboy’s branded experience in The Sandbox!
