New MoCDA exhibitions for The Sandbox Alpha Season 3!
For Alpha Season 3, The Sandbox is renewing its collaboration with The Museum of Contemporary Digital Art (MoCDA), a museum platform that supports digital art and exhibits a comprehensive selection of the most representative artworks of the digital art movement, from the pioneers of the mid-20th century to the contemporary digital artists that continue to evolve and adapt alongside new technological developments.
Two exhibitions, curated by MoCDA, will be showcased in The NFT Institute, open until the end of the Alpha Season 3. Dive in for 20 days of fine digital curation! Details below:
MoCDA curates The Edicurial Collection (11th-20th October 2022)
MoCDA — Museum of Contemporary Digital Art curates a selection of NFTs from The Edicurial Collection. Founded in March 2021 by traditional arts supporter and long-term NFT enthusiast Elsie, the Collection has grown steadily since its inception, showing its true long-term purpose and exhibiting an open minded approach to what Digital Artworks can be, from NFTs to more traditional Computer Art, Artificial Intelligence and beyond. The Edicurial Collection has quickly become an established name in the Crypto and Digital Art Patronage, and aims more than ever to support Crypto and Digital Art on the Blockchain as a significant artistic genre, reflecting a pivotal moment in art history.
MoCDA curates the TokenAngels Collection (21st-31st October 2022)
MoCDA — Museum of Contemporary Digital Art curates a selection of NFTs from the TokenAngels Collection. One of the world’s largest collectors of NFTs, TokenAngels started their journey in the blockchain in 2019. The extensive collection mainly focuses on projects and artists who pioneered Crypto Art from 2016 to 2019 featuring unique RarePepe and CryptoPunk collectibles along with works by Matt Kane, XCOPY, Mattia Cuttini, OficinasTK, Max Osiris, Sarah Zucker and Federico Solmi, among many others.
