New partnership with hi enables spend with SAND, using the hi Debit Card

We are pleased to announce that hi, the Web 3 Neo-Banking App have officially announced a collaboration with The Sandbox. It will allow users to spend the native token SAND in-store and online using the hi Debit Card.

Providing a community of millions with a new way to spend SAND, hi is enabling cardholders to transact with SAND at a selection of merchants in-store and online using the hi Debit Mastercard. Inviting all members of The Sandbox community in eligible markets in the EEA to join hi and apply for the Card, the two companies are commemorating the launch by giving away 100 The Sandbox Avatars NFTs to the first 100 cardholders that spend the equivalent of EUR 1,000 in SAND using the hi Debit Card.

With every transaction using SAND, holders in Europe can earn Spend Rewards of up to 5% as well as up to 8 digital subscriptions and travel benefits.
