Playboy is back in The Sandbox! Introducing the first original NFT collection from Playboy and The Sandbox, inspired by the guests who brought the legendary Playboy Mansion parties to life.
The Playboy Party People will join the Playboy Rabbitars–the VIP members of Playboy’s Web3 community–as they reinvent Pleasure for All in the metaverse on their journey to the future Playboy MetaMansion. The PPP Avatars will be playable throughout The Sandbox including future Playboy experiences!

How many Playboy Party People Avatars are there?
There are a total of 1,969 Avatars that will be minted (in honor of Playboy’s 69th Birthday!). 38 NFTs will be reserved for Playboy and The Sandbox for marketing purposes.
How does rarity work?
Each Avatar is randomly generated with a unique combination of traits associated with five different tiers of rarity. There are also ten one-of-a-kind 1/1 NFTs inspired by iconic Playboy people and moments!

When is the sale and how many Avatars can I buy?
The Playboy Party People Collection will be released in two waves:
Allowlist:
- December 5th 2022, 2pm UTC / 6am PST / 9am EST
Allowlisted users will have a chance to mint a maximum of two avatars per wallet within a 24-hour time period.
Public Sale:
- December 6th 2022, 2pm UTC / 6am PST / 9am EST: When the public sale is live, users will have the chance to mint up to four avatars per wallet.

If you hold one of the below NFTs at the time of snapshot (December 2nd, at 2pm UTC / 6am PST / 9am EST), you can mint a maximum of 2 Playboy Party People Avatars 24 hours before the public sale begins:

How can I see my Avatar?
The Avatars will be revealed on OpenSea approximately 48 hours after the public mint.
Can I mint using any wallet?
Yes! You can mint with whatever wallet you have.
What can I do with this Avatar?
Each Avatar will be playable inside The Sandbox in all future multiplayer experiences and will unlock upcoming features and content. We will also introduce unique Play&Earn opportunities for Avatar holders, giving any holder the opportunity to earn SAND through gameplay.
How can I use my Avatar inside The Sandbox?
You will be able to play your Avatar by simply signing into The Sandbox and selecting your avatar in the Avatar Manager in The Sandbox Dashboard.
Where can I get a Playboy Party People avatar after the primary sale?
After the initial sale is over, you will be able to purchase as many Avatars as you like from users who are willing to sell theirs on the secondary marketplace on OpenSea.
Help! My Avatar hasn’t been revealed on OpenSea. What can I do?
The Avatars will be revealed 48 hours after the public mint. If you are checking before they have been revealed, this is normal. If you are checking after that date, select the “Refresh Metadata” button on the top-right corner of OpenSea.
I’m buying an NFT for the very first time. How can I get started?
The process is quite simple. You need to ensure that you have:
- Created an account on The Sandbox.
- Have the correct amount of SAND to mint the number of Avatars you want, as well as some MATIC to cover gas fees (MATIC is the token used on the Polygon chain. Go here to know more about bridging your SAND tokens from the Ethereum blockchain to Polygon’s Layer 2.)
- Log into your Sandbox account and head over to the mint page: https://sandbox.game/avatar-collections/playboy
- Check that your wallet is properly connected and select the Mint button to retrieve your Avatar.
What chain are these Avatars on?

I already have SAND on ETH Mainnet. Do I have to buy more SAND?
