The Sandbox and Nuclear Blast partner to build ‘Blast Valley,’ a heavy metal-themed metaverse experience
Players will enjoy the atmosphere of a heavy metal festival, encounter demons, complete quests around a magic erupting volcano, and attend premiere virtual concerts

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Nuclear Blast, an independent record label founded in 1987 in Germany that is recognized for signing and nurturing some of the most esteemed and influential artists in extreme and modern metal. Over the years, the label has solidified its position at the forefront of the heavy metal scene globally and has built up incredible influence in the music genre’s culture.
Through our partnership, we’re excited to bring the music and culture of heavy metal into the metaverse with a dedicated environment designed by heavy metal fans, for heavy metal fans. Nuclear Blast is primed to lead this charge and plans to utilize its influence to promote and host virtual events in The Sandbox!
Blast Valley will feature initial quests that involve players reclaiming the power of heavy music embodied by the magical volcano at the center of Blast Valley, and uniting all creatures living in the land in a band to perform on stage.
