Update on May Festival Objectives

Thank you for participating in the May Festival! We designed this in-game event to reward our community for their participation in our ecosystem and for engaging in the experiences that our amazing community created.

As a reminder, here is a list of the rewards our May Festival offers:

- 🎁[OPEN TO ALL] All winners will split the May Mystery Box reward (Total value of 300K $SAND including packs of SAND, Premium LANDs & Big Brands NFTs)

- 💰[LAND OWNERS] will split an additional bonus reward pool (350K SAND)

- 💰[AVATAR OWNERS] will split an additional bonus reward (350K SAND)

- For all May Festival gated rewards, make sure to hold your NFT in your wallet until the end of the event!

Over the last few weeks, we encountered issues on the back end and with the game client, which affected our users’ ability to complete their event requirements.

Consequently, the number of EPs collected was not reflected in a major part of our experiences (58 of 70 experiences had this issue).

In order to address this, we have taken the following steps:

• Lower the May Festival Mystery Box reward requirements from 200 to 50 EPs in order to enable everyone who participated to get a chance to win their rewards.
• This also applies to LAND owners and Avatar owners event pools; you only need 50 EP to complete the event and get your guaranteed rewards
• The snapshot of your achievements will be taken on June 12th at 2PM UTC. Make sure to complete your quests before then!
